Job Hunter is an AI career platform provided by Botfinity Inc. ("we", "us"), 2451 W Grapevine Mills Cir #547, Grapevine, TX 76051, United States. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

This policy covers jobhunter.supermia.ai, the Job Hunter app at app.jobhunter.supermia.ai, and any emails or support conversations you have with us.

We collect information you give us, information created while you use Job Hunter, and a limited amount of technical information:

• Account details: your name, email address and password, or the details shared by a sign-in provider you choose.
• Resume and career details: the resumes you upload, the skills, experience and level we read from them, and your job search preferences such as titles, locations and job types.
• Applications: the jobs you save, match scores, and application emails you generate or edit.
• Practice sessions: the audio of your mock interview answers, transcripts, hints shown to you, and the scores and feedback we produce.
• Usage and device information: pages viewed, features used, approximate location from your IP address, browser and device type, and error logs.
• Communications: messages you send to support and your email preferences.

• To provide Job Hunter: search job boards for you, score your resume against each job, draft application emails and run mock interviews.
• To give you feedback: transcribe and analyse your practice answers and calculate readiness scores.
• To keep your account secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems.
• To improve the product, for example by understanding which features help people most.
• To send service messages, and marketing emails only where you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

Job Hunter uses artificial intelligence to read resumes, compare them with job descriptions, write drafts and run voice interviews. Your content is sent to the AI and speech providers we work with only to perform these tasks for you.

AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Scores and suggestions are guidance to help you prepare, not a decision about you, and no automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects is made about you.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share it only:

• With service providers who host, process or analyse data on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, AI and speech processing, email delivery and analytics, under contracts that limit how they use it.
• With job boards and employers when you choose to open, apply to or contact them. Their own privacy policies then apply.
• If required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case we will tell you.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide Job Hunter. When you delete your account we delete or anonymise your personal information within a reasonable period, unless we need to keep some of it to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, download or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict some processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws can also request information about the categories of data we collect and how we use it.

To make a request, email hello@supermia.ai. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some of them may stop parts of Job Hunter from working.

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong password and tell us straight away if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Job Hunter is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We are based in the United States and may process your information there and in other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and if the changes are significant we will tell you by email or in the app before they take effect.
